Those suede boots are amazing! Does anyone have some examples of the red-brown suede IRL?

Those boots are insane. Love those.

I have a single monk reddish brown suede on order.

Would somebody here post a side by side picture of some mid brown suede and red brown?

Cheers Guys, they should serve me well for many years to come.

Big thanks to @arahat and his proxy service in getting these made up. Highly recommended - got them pretty much spot on.

@montecarlo: great boots! Any difficulty in breaking those in?

Thanks Tukker. Haven't had a chance to wear them too much but so far they feel great. They are still a little stiff but I find the higher instep of the K-last fits my feet really well. They are so much more comfortable straight out of the box than other dress shoes. I think I have just stumbled upon a lucky match for my feet with the K-last. I recommend it to anyone with a high instep and normal to narrow width feet.

Sure.

The only Vass lasts I have tried are the U, F and K. In the U and F I am a 43 / UK9 / US10 and in the K last I prefer to size-up to 43.5 / UK9.5 / US10.5.

Wow! Even after seeing tons of suede boot pics on styleforum, those are just something else! A real combination of supremely fine suede material, construction, and photography :)

'Mid-brown' really is the most understated colour name out there, there's nothing middling about it hehe.

Thanks I am same size as you most US shoes size 10 & UK 9 I was looking at K last monk strap I guess I will try my luck with 43.5 bud thank you.

No worries mate. I think I could probably get away with a 43 in the K-last if I was wearing very thin socks, but it would be a very close fit in the toe box. 43.5 is definitely the safer option. K-last dub monks are a good choice. I have been eyeing some up as well, especially after seeing the stunning oxblood pair RogerP posted a little while back.

Haha you read my mind same double monk in oxblood they are sick. Do you know the cost you paid compare to USA or eBay prices etc.

Awww Yeah those DB monks are awesome.

I am in Australia so the horrible current AUD to USD rate pretty much rules out using eBay or any other third party vendor for me. I went through @arahat who charged me the same rate (or at least pretty damn close I think) as going directly through Vass. Not including Vat, prices were approx 510 EUR for boots and 450 EUR for shoes.
