Is there a functional benefit to having the vamp/top part made of suede? i.e. it's more durable/wears better/etc?

The suede makes them more flexible, therefore more comfortable. Sometimes the leather uppers make the boots feel pretty stiff.

Forgot they started doing that, I just got used to the PITA wires.

So much easier! It's ridiculous how hard it is to send a wire transfer from the US to most other countries.

Really nice Haz - and a good, good shine on them!
Can't wait for my exchanged OE's (half a size larger) to be finalised... Although oxblood and U-last but anyway! ;-)

I know, one time they literally couldn't find the money I sent for 2 weeks. Eva (Mrs. Vass) starting handling the problem though, and it went smoothly after that.

I believe @Braddock has a pair. Maybe he could contribute with a picture?

These have been sitting in my closet for a year and a half. They were tight at the ball of my foot and on my dominant foot pinkie toe. Meant to sell them but never did. Tried them on today and they are snug but maybe able to keep. Should I expect any stretching in these?

That depends. If they're a size 8.5 then no and you should just sell them to me. biggrin.gif

And if they're an 8 to me!

So, I happen to be going to Budapest and I'll only be there Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. Anyone know what the store hours are? (I looked at the site but either missed out our it's not there)

BTW, I'm thinking about a single monk and an austerity. Both in some shade of Brown. Other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
