When I get S last in different sizes, I'll ask some of my clients and maybe we can get a verdict.
In addition to width, height of the vamp/toe box might also come into play?

The overall fit of the S sounds promising to me (lower instep) but the toe box looks too "square" from pictures. It looks wider than G&G's TG73. I was planning to pick up an S lasted shoe in the future but I might have to wait for there "other" lasts to show up and identify their fit/shape.

Interesting that there is now a Vass and Spring Line connection!

will de-rail the last conversation for a sec to share a few of what I have;

I'm really in love with museum right now. The Polished look of a museum calf in Orange.

and in plum

and lastly, a nice looking light brown suede high boot.

Not in antic cognac but 6125. Visualize it a bit lighter. If you're in Canada, I can help you with your next MTO.

F is a great choice for a chukka, IMO.

PSA : for those in the US and interested in RTW and instant gratification, we are running a special promotion for a few days on European makers.   Code is EURO20 and gives 20% off.   For the Vass lovers, here that results in a price of ~$600 including trees and shipping to US & Canada.

Couple new styles we dropped yesterday:

So I managed to get home for a couple of days and pick up my replacement Vass - these were ordered in 42.5, originally sent in 43, and now delivered agin in.....

Bit surprised this happened twice in a row, but the fit of the 42 is actually pretty good. A bit more snug than my 9uk MH71, but G&G recommended sizing down to 8.5 for my next pair so maybe 42 is fine. I'm going to wear them around the house this evening to see and at this point am cautiously optimistic, but still a bit shocked that the replacement for a wrong simple came in a different wrong size.

In other topics, if one wears a 42 in U last, does that take the same size in F? I've got a couple of orders I'm thinking through while the euro is low.
