I was in Budapest and they were in stock in the store. Don't think I would have bought them unless I saw them in person.

Couldn't resist having another pair made up... the Budapest in medium brown suede. They should be here in a month or two. smile.gif

What colour are they? Oxblood?

Not oxblood, there isn't any red. Just a mid brown.

Anyone know the available suede colors that Vass offers?

This may be of some help - it's the reverse of their sample swatches from the store a fortnight ago.

As always Rezso will be super-helpful in taking better photos if you ask.

Also worth noting I think these are a new stock model as they had them in U and F lasts in multiple colours.

And some boots (MTO I think)

Thanks, probably just my monitor. Is that what Vass refers to it as, a mid brown? It looks pretty dark which I like.

I need some help Vass experts. I am looking at a pair of awesome Vass cordovan shoes in size 43.5 F last.

How does the U last compare to the F last?

I wear size 44 on the U, can I wear 43.5 on the F?

Sorry to tell you, but there's no consensus on that.  Some take a half size bigger in U versus F, others (myself included) comfortably wear the same size in both lasts.  The main fit difference between the two lasts is the toe box - U being narrower and more confining.  If one has chubby or widely-splayed toes, I can well understand sizing up for U, even though I have absolutely no need to do so.
