So might have to put 'em up on Buy and sell, we'll see.

Some pics at least:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show) -

what a wonderful makeup reminds me a lot of 888 shannon. sad to hear they dont fit. do you notice that blucher u last is easier to fit I take a 45.5 in u last but couldnt fit the balmoral of same size. sizing up wasnt an option either

it sounds like anticipated this problem. how did the cobbler adjust your other pairs?

Thanks a lot guys! Yeah it's a real shame they don't fit, really love them. Size is EU44,5/UK10,5. Previous pairs have been in different sizes and widths and changed several different things on them, like tongue and heel pads in leather and lasted them and stuff like that.

^ and vass couldt make changes? They are pretty good with adjusting last if you are comfortable with a little give and take in fit. Can I ask the turn around time for that pair?
It's really a shame because you crushed that makeup it's perfect

You're in Europe. Just make an appointment, fly there, and get them to work out what adjustments you need - their custom upcharge is remarkably reasonable. Then back to the ease of ordering via e-mail to Rezso (and now, it seems, being able to pay by card).

Well I'm doing just that in two weeks. Less than the cost of messing up an order.

Yeah I know. The plan is to fix a modified U last for me. Had planned to do it when I organised a trunk show with among others Vass this fall here in Sweden, but it was so hectic so I never got the time. Will be a new round next year, so might wait until then to fix the personal version of the U if I can't squeeze in a Budapest visit by then, and then order this boot again, if it won't be able to fix.

Just a guess...

Narrower foot. No room for stitching without running up over the "cleats."
