Love them and also your gold on the u. Torn between u and f. Most of my shoes are round toes. Argh! In all honesty the austerity looks fab in plum, ox blood, gold and dark brown! I am set on plum as it is a fab colour but still torn on last....

I personally prefer the rounder F for an austerity but U doesn't work for me size wise so that's prolly for the best!

You see for me in the plum the F looks perfect there. So I think that is pair one sorted. Now need to decide on the cigar, dark cognac! The Weymouth I think it was looked interesting.

I'm the reverse.  I love the F for a captoe but I think the U and K are killer for an austerity brogue.  Just sooii frickn' sharp to my eyes:

U it is! So size 6.5 on JL 7000 reading some say stick with same EU size on U and some saying size up .5! Confusing. Average width feet really.

Does anyone know whether Vass usually does Oxblood with black or dark brown edge trim? It's hard to tell from the photos and I want to make sure.

And I like an austerity brogue on U, but I think I prefer F overall.

My oxblood DMs have black edge trim.  Don't know whether this is usual or not but I have seen it that way more than once.  If you want different, just make sure to specify it and hope they get it right.  It may just be my perception, but they seem to be messing up a lot lately.

My oxblood OEII also have black edge trim

Could've sworn the U-lasted austerity brogues I've seen had the WT peak go farther up the vamp; these look like they have too much space.

I agree the F last seems perfect for that style:

It's parallax in the photo I suspect.

Thanks for everyone who responded about the oxblood edge trim!
