Sorry the fit didn't work out Ozzy - I'll look forward to seeing the pics, but I suspect I will find it hard to squeeze another burgundy oxford into the rotation.

Yeah,it was a gamble; should've maybe gone with my initial thought of sizing down and going wide. Perils of long distance shoo shopping I suppose

I wanted to share with you my inputs about my first order that arrived yesterday after 7 weeks of waiting.  Vass mixed up both specification models: The Alt Wien in 3636, shell, 360º goyser and double sole arrived in P2, calf, normal stiching and Haf sole. The Old English model in P2, calf and  Haf sole arrived in 3636 last, calf, and double sole.  Incredible and Amazing!!. ( I sent Vass easy description and pics of what I wanted).  Of course I returned both pairs straight on to HU (45 euros) with the shoe trees and today  I sent Mr. Kuti a new and quite fair proposal  including a 3rd pair!!. :slayer:The positive thing is that now  I  have personal experience with the shoes and the size for fitting. Inputs:

A.-Lenght size.  I wear 9 in Carmina (Oscar/Rain/Simpson/Forest), 9D in Weston, 9 in C&J, church and Alden.  I sent my feet drawing and Mr. Kuti advise me to go for 42.5.  Good advise.

B.-Widh.-I find P2 a bit wide and 3636 extreamely wide both  in the heal box (sorry if it is not the word). Next order I will go for D or narrow width.

Is F last as wide as P2  especially in the heel box?.  I am ordering my 3rd pair in F and I wonder if I should go for D or standard widh. Any advise will be much appreciated.

C.-Haf soles.  I do not like them (in pics they appeared to me really "balanced" with the shoe). From now on simple or double soles.

D.-I was pissed off cause there was no size marks in the linings. They did not put in the shoe my size.  Furthermore, they do not put the name of the model in the box.  It´s that normal or everything happened to me?.:puzzled:

E.-The leather was excellent, I liked very much the full lining, the goyser stiching, and the pattern of both last (very different to what I have). Shoes not heavy at all, although both last seem very sturdy.  The soles are magnificient too.

I hope to wait for another 2 months. Love Vass!!

Did you check the sole? Most of mine have the size stamped on there.

Thought they didn't do the goyser?

Of course...and nothing...I even asked Mr. Kuti if he was sure it was 32.5 size.  I await for reply.  What about the model/size in the box?
