The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...) - Page 869

Someone needs to work a deal on these with Sammy. Size 42. The "London" stitching looks great on P2, and the quality/shade of that Oxblood seems perfect.

Some thirty minutes ago one modest courier brought a parcel from Hungary. Little did he know it contained some serious pornographic content, best suited for hardcore shoe nerds (HSN) only. Weather permitting, I should have a photo session tomorrow -- with close-ups to boot.

Just wanted to share a few photos I took recently of my latest pair of Vass shoes - finally 'blue loafers' has arrived. Courier damaged the box a little unfortunately

Should publish a blog post over the weekend or Monday.

Photos taken during different light conditions, hence the white balance is a bit off on some of the pics, sorry

Very interesting indeed!
Never seen this model before from Vass?
How's the suede quality? Last time I made one the nap was quite rough...this one looks kinda soft though...

In any case, great makeup and great color! Have been seeing a lot of blue makeups lately...

Hi @agedashidofu . I am not sure this model is available as a standard RTW, I just wrote to Rezso and let him know what would I like and if they are able to do that. So it was an MTO order.

I have seen suede from Vass which was rather rough and also fluffy, a bit too much for my liking. I asked for a soft suede and what I got is very nice. It is soft and quite smooth. If you zoom in the 2nd picture though you will see a mark on left shoe (outer side) so it is not flawless. In general I am very happy although for people with thinner and lighter feet I would recommend going 0.5 size down compared to U last, this is on F - better suited for a loafer in my opinion.

Close-up of the suede:

...that model is one of Vass's RTW slippers:

I hate tassels so, naturally, I feel this Nagy is an excellent alternative. That combination of matte suede with just a bit of shiny calf is superb as well - well designed, ammanati!

I don't hate tassels but I agree this is really nice.

Vass v cap oxford in Shell Cordovan
Magic touch by Dandy Shoe Care (Alexander Nurulaeff)

This particular shell had blemishes and irregularities which I wasn't particularly fond of - so I decided to give Dandy Shoe Care a try and what came out afterwards was magic! Extremely pleased with the outcome...

Dude has mad skills and those shoes are freaking awesome.

I have another pair of EG I want to send his way.

gorgeous work. remarkable for shell cordovan. what was the issue to begin with?

Thanks guys...

@NAMOR: The shell had too many variation in color and quite a few blemish. I wouldn't normally mind but it was just to a point where it was not pleasing aesthetically.

@Roger: It was your first EG pair that gave me the inspiration to try him out and yes he has mad skills indeed!
