@Limniscate those look terrific. I'd love a second pair of austerity brogues.

Stolen pic of @poorsod's brown suede P2 longwing earlier today at a bespoke suit fitting. Such a great make-up

Does anyone have a picture of the River medallion from model #111 (http://www.vass-cipo.hu/Eng/Modellek_08_Olasz/Modell_08_111_Nagy.html) paired with a straight punched cap and/or wingtip? I've seen it paired with the V-cap, but don't like them together.

Help would be appreciated. Bird view would be preferred, but anything would do. Thanks.

What happened to all the cricket talk?  This thread is now ruined.

However, I have a more pertinent question: does anyone buy the three piece trees as a matter of course for their direct orders, and how long does it normally take to get them?  OK, technically two questions.  But in mitigation, neither of them was about Sri Lankan bowlers.

I have a pair of 3-piece trees from another maker. While they may be better than the hinged kind for the shoes, they're a real pain in the butt to use. The center part always risks falling out, and then you have 6 pieces to chase around you've dressed. Some makers put a string on them to hold them together, but the whole thing adds complexity to times of the day when I don't want to think real hard.

Question is, even though I have a Dover on order why is that Norweger tugging at me?

I normally prefer the Goyser stitch on boots, but I think it works really well there
