Updated pic with a few wears on these. I may never need another shell shoe ...at least the rest of this year.

Those look so great. Are they P2? Look a bit more sleek

Very nice! Was the medallion a "stock" version, or your own design? I guess the LWB is something you ordered as a MTO, as afaik Vass doesn't offer a LWB?

Vass does lwb but not a stock model. The medallion is standard with the lwb. I have the same in oxblood shell.

Thanks ryden, and yes P2, but I think the large medallion and longwing helps to visually slim it down.

And thanks hoodog. It was one I ordered, and I found that medallion on an older Vass longwing photo and asked for it.

@hoodog What are the sizes and does the K fit you well? It looks a little smaller than the others.

Does anyone have any side by side pictures of the R and F lasts?

Is it just me or do Vass' higher heels than other makers?

Maybe its hard to tell from these shots, but the R last is actually really wide and flat across the vamp, which I don't find attractive at all. The toe box however is pretty nice, as its is less voluminous compared to the P2 and F. A slightly narrower version of the R last toe box, put on the F last, would be a real winner IMO.

Well, the R and K lasted shoes were actually sent to me from Vass only so that I could make up my mind on which last to go with for my first bespoke order this fall. I got measured during the trunk show in Stockholm that Vass took part in in September and was planning to decide on which make up to go with on the same occasion. Unfortunately though, Vass didn't bring any K or R-lasted shoes with them to Stockholm, so they agreed to ship a shoe on each last to me to see what they looked like. Anyway, I ended up deciding between the F and U anyway, and I've basically made up my mind to go with F this time around.

Anyway, yes the shoe on the K last is in a smaller size than the others. I would say that its probably 42-42,5 in size, which is about a full size too small for me, so I canät really say anything on the fit. Its also actually made out of #8 shell, which explains the slightly different creasing across the vamp.

i absolutely agree about the r last. looks much wider than 82 and even 202. did you size down 1/2 from f last?

i will say though from a couple of angles the r last is an absolute winner in my book

Well, as I said earlier, these were only samples of both lasts sent to me by Vass so that I could see how the R and K lasts look in real life. They weren't intended to fit me, so I didn't do any thinking on sizing. So I really can't say much about how the different lasts fit since I don't even know what size they are.

What colour is that shoe on the far right in the U last? It looks really nice in your photos.

Thanks! Its Bordeaux calf, but with some home made mottled burnishing on the toe.
