The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...) - Page 826

Thanks guys,

The antique cognac shell derbies and oxblood shell lwb are mine. I hope they fit better than my other two vass shoes but I'll probably still wear them regardless. Can't wait to receive them! Thanks again arahat!

Very nice ironist. Did you size differently this time around?

Oxfords rock. Not sure why people here all of a sudden think they are exclusively for suits.

@NAMOR Frank's right. I do source the kangaroo for group orders. I find that it's perfect for boots. It shrugs of inclement weather, mud, urban grime etc. without too much fuss yet wears to an interesting patina. I'll try to get some photos of a worn pair soon.

Thanks frankc. And looking forward to how these wear. I've only heard good things about the kangaroo

I'd like to see worn in kangaroo too.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality

Strictly speaking, worn out kangaroo.

Forgive the immaturity, it's a Friday afternoon here in Australia.

Maybe my next pair of Norwegers-- not that I have my own supplies of the stuff to send to Vass.

Norweger. That's some good thinking.

Congrats and very cool...landlocked counties can produce gunboats! I have one coming at some point, but without the goyser (although, the 360 welt compliments longwings perfectly).

Gorgeous as they are, am I the only one who thinks those aren't longwings? I thought a longwings wrapped all the way back around the heel without a break?

are you guys referring to ironists mto burgundy longwings. are we looking at 2 different things? they look like longwings to me
post #12390 of 20276

In the original post, there are some derby brogues and some longwings, both derbies in shell on the shit-kicking 3636 I believe.  Would be easy to miss one of them when skimming the thread.  I had to go back and look for the wingtips I'd missed when reading the first time, perhaps Roger did the opposite.
