That's probably it. J ingevaldsson on this forum wrote a couple of pages back that Vass would bring shoes on the new last (S according to him) with them to a trunk show in Stockholm in september.

There is no C last...

F U C K are lasts in order... looks like a chop job.

Ascot posted it directly from the shop though, right? Quite the joke by someone if it isn't real. It's even more amusing if they really chose C without thinking about it.

the klast looks great in those photos btw. much better than the C last

that pic makes the K last look better. The k last looks wider/less chiseled than the U last in that pic.

edit - just saw NAMOR agress haha

@RogerP any chance you could do a side by side of the U and the K? Maybe an aerial view to see how the shapes differ?

yeah k last looks fantastic in those pics. i wonder if you get a wide fitting in k or u, will they widen the the ball and the toe or just the ball?

Here you go.  Double monk is K last, austerity brogue is U.

@RogerP thanks for the comparison. I get a different impression based on each photo. How would you describe the two?

Cheers. Similar width at the forefoot and heel.  Same overall length. Perhaps a slightly higher instep on the K (though it's not apples to apples in terms of design), and a more aggressive taper of the toe box - or more pointy, in other words.  The primary difference between U,K and F is the execution of the toe box.  Here's an older group shot with K, F and U left to right.
