Thanks mate. However, I am still not sure which one will fit me better? 39, 39.5, or 40? Guys, I need more of your suggestions, especially from small-footed gents.

I wear UK 6E in EG 202 last, US 6.5 B/D in Alden Hampton & Leydon lasts, US 6.5D in AE, UK 5.5-6E in C&J 325 last, US 6.5D in BB/C&J 240 last, US 7D in BB/C&J 317 last. My feet have relatively high arches.

What size should I get for VASS U, F, & P2 last?
If you have relatively high arches then keep away from close lace-up Oxfords...and gear towards a Monkstrap, Open lace Derby and Open lace boots.
Do you know the difference between these shoe types and how they fit?

If you went out and bought a pair of Vass in the U last size 40 - of the following style:
1) Monkstrap
2) Oxford Close lace budapest
3) Derby open lace budapest

The fitting will not necessarily be the same. You will find the Oxford budapest fitting more snug than the other 2.
The Monkstrap will be more comfortable because it's opening will stretch down to the upper vamp section.

My best advice is go for the 40 - you're better off getting a pair that's comfortable and if it loosen up just fit a gel pad insole.
Any size smaller you run the risk of doing long term damage to your feet & pocket.

IMHO.

I'm also generally a US 11. What sizes do you wear in some other brands and lasts? I've got an idea of what I want to order from Vass and will ask Mr. Kuti for his advice, but since you're also an 11, I thought I'd see if you could provide some comparisons. Thanks!

For what it's worth, Rikod, I have never found you ungentlemanly and certainly didn't realise you were the reference here!  You're just...direct.  :)

Thank you!, I was with that comment, but I really find those Vass U/K lasted boots like costumes, circus entertainment stuff, personal opinion of course, and coming from a person who really love Vass

I'm 10.5E/11D in Alden Barrie. 11E/11.5D in Hampton and Aberdeen. I wear a UK10.5 wide fitting in Carmina Forest and an UK11 regular fitting in Carmina otherwise. Overall, my foot is just a little bit on the wide side. Mr. Kuti suggest a 45 for me in the New Peter last and in a calf skin shoe it fits very nicely.

Good luck.

I am visiting Europe in a few weeks. Are there any Vass retailers in London, Paris or Luxembourg?

Thank you, sir. I think that confirms my thinking that I'd be 44 or 44.5, depending on the last.

To those of you who have ordered a stock style, how long did it take for Vass to get them to you?

The finish on G&G products seems excellent, I hear their quality control is tip-top (because they make all And what's more, G&G, even in their higher priced Deco range, are giving you a gemmed, goodyear welted shoe whereas Vass are giving you a hand-welted shoe.

Whut, I thought the Deco line was hand-welted?

Only for the samples way back when it initially launched. And gemmed soon after. G&G wouldnt get to where it is today without cutting corners on RTW like everyone else.

That really puts me off the get Deco now. long waiting time, absence of dogmatic manufacture method, I much rather pay more to get a bespoke shoe.
