I'm assuming you meant 42.5 for both? Sizing down 2 sizes seem excessive?

I see on eBay that Ascot Shoes is selling some models on the "New Budapest" last. WTF is that? P2 or P3, or is there some other model out there that nobody's heard of?

8.0UK Carmina Forrest
7.5UK Carmina Rain (very snug)
8.5D Allen Edmonds 5 Last

My foot is at the outer limit of a US9D......i ordered 42 regular width in F and P2 lasts......f was perfect like a glove.....p2 felt a little more generous....i felt i might have gotten away with shaving off a half size for P2.

Out of curiosity, did you take both the p2 and the U last in the same size?

Sounds like a great makeup.

^ Can't wait to see the U-cap on a boot. I assume you went with no medallion? And, did you happen to ask about other available shell colors?

what made you curious? all the posts over the years that explicitly say to go up 1/2 sizes?

went up 1/2 on U. most people recommend this and its been my experience

my boots were modeled on the above pairs, built on F last. opted for a more casual look and went with P2, 270 goyser, and no medallion. i could have gone either way with medallion both look great
