Oxblood is great! Very dark, almost black, in evening light indoors while more interesting than black in day light.

Agreed. It's rather understated. Vass oxblood calf is surprisingly complex and versatile.

I wore K last with half size up, but i don't think i could wear it true to size because of the narrow toe box

No, I haven't.  I'd be curious to know how a half-size down (42.5 for me) in G would fit, but I am fairly confident a 43G would be too big.

 

And just to be clear - the K toe box is fine for me over the course of an average day.  But if I am leaving the house at 7am and not returning until late in the evening, I'd probably choose another pair.

that's also my problem with K last, wouldn't choose that if i have to walk much in that day
