Mine also came out really light which was not what I had originally wanted (I need darker colors where I work.) It just so happens that they had sent me the incorrect size/last. So I had returned it and decided to change to dark brown museum instead. Overall, fantastic service from Vass as always

What? So they are really different then? How did wurger happen to get dark ones and you guys get lighter? Can you request it?

Actually mine is even lighter than ozzyjones'.
In my opinion, Roger's gold museum calf from Vass was the best one I've seen, but then again they were Ilcea museums and not Haas

Not sure if we can request darker, I didn't ask (I should have in hindsight)

Gold Museum calf will be slightly different from piece to piece, and the lighting of the environment.
