^ Thanks for the feedback, guys.

I just want to be sure I'm getting the right size so I don't have to add them to the pile of mistakes I need to sell.

I think I misinterpreted the info I got.

I have no EG (which I will remedy soon!), but I wear a 10D US (Alden for BB shell and a few other BB models), 9.5 in country-lasted Tricker's, 9.5 in C&J, and am somewhere between a 9-9.5 in JL. I have the William and the Phillip, both in 9. I can tolerate them, but they could be bigger. (I'm unsure of the lasts on most shoes.)

I'll take a thorough gander through this thread to try and make certain I order the right size.

Here's an interview with Laszlo Vass on the terrific blog Claymoor: http://www.claymoor.blogspot.ro/2012/08/laszlo-vass-in-terms-of-change-i-wont.html
Some nice pics from the shoemaking process and the new store. A bit interesting is that Vass says that they will be increasing the e-trade, could we expect an online-shop..?

"The most beautiful pair of footwear was a Budapest-Oxford model in a dark brown – antique cognac color on an Italian shaped last of us." - Laszlo Vass

Could he be talking about my frankenshoes .... :embar:

Thanks G ! When I placed that order back then, I had no idea what it would look like exactly - because of the chisel of the last, I actually thought the seam would be more inset with a short apron (à la EG Dover), so I was surprised when I received them. Pleasantly surprised of course. They're pretty unique.

A very nice pair indeed. I've been shying away from the U last in favor of the F but your pair has me re-thinking that decision; at least in deciding which way to go with that model.

I love those shoes^^^^ - they are unique, bold and without compromise. As Gerd said, probably the sexisest shoos on SF-.

Vass was talking about these- (darker IRL than in this pic, dunno why)
