As soon as I get home, I'll post one shot of my Antique Cognac, F Last, Old English II (Italian polish). I don't know why I once imagined Vass shoes to be heavy: this babies are feathers at my feet. :slayer:

Any idea which last these are on? The photo angle is a little distorted but normally I can tell Vass lasts from photos. They look a little broad to be F Last but they look more shapely than some of the other 3636 photos I've seen. Somehow doesn't look like P2 either. I came across these on google images and there wasn't any info that came along with the pic.

My first pair of Vass arrived today.

The specifications:
* U-last, size 44,5
* Antique cognac
* Brass buckles
* Shorter rounded straps, buckles attached directly to shoe
* Single sole

Ordered directly from Vass, got wonderful service and prompt e-mail answers from Reszo Kuti. And for us europeans who don't have to fight extra FedEx-costs they came out pretty cheap (470 euros including trees and shipping). Very happy with them, truly great shoes and they fit well (I'm normally a size 10UK/44EU, so did the right choice to size up to 44,5).

And of course, a bunch of photos:

Perhaps a P2 in cordovan or some other stout stuff. Or a small 3636?

Sooooo consensus is that I would the same size on the 3636 last as the Budapest last, correct?

I am the same size on the P2 and F and on the U a half size up from those two.

New Vass boots on the Budapest last in dark brown scotch grain. Thanks Kolecho! Apologies for the poor photos.

Came across this video and there is some decent Vass footage starting at ~1:40 and also at the end
