I was not referring to size, I know I can size down. I was referring to the lower aesthetic value of VASS compare to few years back. VASS U-last was ,imho, always up there in finesse with the best examples of hand-made footwear. I look at today's VASS and it is more and more reminds me aesthetically of something that would come out of 3-rd rate Italian factory.
Vass U-last gained weight in an ugly way. Thick wide heels and wide AE-like waist.

Also, a word of caution; when ordering loafers from VASS :http://www.vass-cipo.hu/Eng/Modellek_08_Olasz/Modell_08_070_Kicsi.html , specify to move apron 1/2 inch towards the heel of the shoe. I explain: when you look at VASS loafer online it looks perfectly proportionate, but when you receive final product you would see that the apron placed too forward (too close to the toe) and thus creates very unelegnat balance.

hmmm, i'm sensing that some blue 3-eyelet bluchers on the F last will pop up soon...

Love those longwings, would probably prefer them on a chunkier last though.

WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT 3RD MODEL ON THE BOTTOM (the austere wingtip)?
