They all look great in U lasts. Are these on standard width? They look to me less narrow toe than comparison pictures against TG73 a few pages back.

So...Chukka in medium brown suede...F-last or U? I realized Vass can do a 1.5 leather sole to single and add metal toe taps - so I'll probably go with that.

I'm looking for a very versatile boot that can be worn primarily with denim. I already have a pair of theresianer high boots in cognac scotch-grain.

Neither. P2 or Budapest. Haven't seen a chukka on Buda last yet, but it'd look awesome.

It seems Epaulet opened up a thread for Vass group buys.Interesting but I was scared off by the USD865 price they quoted.

Even notch quotes USD600 plus to proxy a pair so Im x sure what makes Epaulets offer more attarctive

Well, I have a pair of blackwatch trousers that are from epaulet and they're absolutely gorgeous, but I paid only $55 for them. Full retail at $235? No way...

Also, some more Vass. This time F-last beauties for those looking for a somewhat sleeker toe box. Click for (much) larger pics. (How's that for pr0n?!)

P2 gets close, but if the F fits there isn't much reason to go anywhere else. The Budapest Oxford is a beautifully-proportioned model.
