Need a bit of help regarding Vass sizing.

If I wear UK 6.5 in Meermin Ama and most C&J (Connaught, Savile, Drummond & more), what size in EU should I get for Vass U and K lasts? I've only had experience with Vass' F last in EU 41, and those were too big.

I'm looking into getting a MTO, on either the U or K last. Should I get a 40 or 40.5?

Also, stylistically, what are the differences between the U and K? This one pair of brown austerity shoes on the U look amazing (somewhere in this thread), and I might get an exact looking pair.

I think you should be a 40.5 in F and normally go up 1/2 a size to 41 for the U. I have no experience with the K.

Does anyone have personal experience of having their Vass resoled by a local cobbler? If so, how was it compared to having a GY welted shoe resoled?

For U-last I would go with 39.5 , not a half-size more. I wear UK7 and I am swimming in U-last 40.5 from last year. U-last grew at least 1size larger than it used to be , 1/8" wider and the heels also became wider and less well-proportioned.

You already bought a pair and went through the soles?

Narrowed my choice down to these, can someone tell me the difference between Vass' Oxblood, Bordeaux, and Burgundy? Thanks

This might help too, although some colors do seem a bit off:
