he is back! your sizing sounds about right. what are you thinking about this go around?

I went a 0.5 smaller than I initially thought when I first bought Vass. I was able to use a full leather ortho insole from AE in a 40 (F last) so I think 39.5 will be my plan for the F in the future. I picked #75 (stock model) since I wanted a tan wingtip oxford. I had a pair of C&J Cliffords in the past but the heel slip was just too much. Could have just gone with EG but I thought this would be a nice opportunity to try Vass again. Second is #89 boot since I'm in MI now and bal boots every day of the week might be too much with the Wolverine/Red Wing pack.

My feet are 26cm long and 101/104mm wide, with a high instep. My size is 41G or 41.5F for F, U and P2. Here are some images of how 41G on the U last fits me - the fit on the F last is pretty much the same.

Which colour is that? Thanks.

This may have been posted somewhere, but what is the status of the museum/misty/ultra calf? I know they were short on supply of museum but might be getting in new stock of misty or ultra?

^^^^ Excellent choice.   That style in scotch grain with the double sole and goyser welt is stuffed full of win.  I want those shoes big time.  Got to ease up on shoe purchases for a little bit, though.

Thanks! I have been attempting to replace a very old pair of pre-SF John Varvatos Norvegese welted shoes that were just the perfect casual shoe. I got rid of them after two resoles and the welting started coming undone. I should have had them completely recrafted but did not know enough at the time. These things look like tanks and should be able to take a beating. My only other scotch grain shoes is a pair of EG what are a bit too nice for bar hopping and the like.

May I ask which colour that is? Still new to Vass and trying to figure out which leather I want to use for my first pair. Thanks!
