I don't know about AUTOfail, it depends on the game and whether it can be translated into a legitimate concept. Street Fighter? Autofail. Tomb Raider? If made really well, could have been Indiana Jones with a hot female lead. There is at least some POTENTIAL for a decently entertaining movie with some games. Though, not very many.

You're like 20, right? I'm 22. We were just little kids when that came out, but it was so badass.

Sorry, I'm an idiot.

I checked again and the trailer I saw for Zelda was actually an April Fool's joke. My bad

So are they basing the "plot" of this movie on the Warcraft lore (as in, Warcraft 1-3 and TFT) or trying to incorporate the new lore aspects from WoW as well? It just seems like there is way too much if they add in all the changes WoW has gone through and they should likely just make a movie based upon the early games since there is already plenty there. Also the "lore" in WoW is fairly scant on the surface, unless you actually read through quest dialogs and pieced things together yourself with some of the books they've concurrently released. Otherwise some parts of the game just seem completely random (i.e. who is Sartharion and why the hell is he in some portal in the middle of Northrend; evidently the books tell you more about this)

I'm actually still hoping they do a movie based on my favorite rpg as a kid, Palladium Rifts. Bruckheimer bought the option years ago but has been sitting on it

I wouldn't get my hopes up for this guys. I don't think there is any possible way they could pull off all the races in a live action movie. Starcraft maybe as they might be able to mod the Cylon suits from Battlestar Galactica to make the Protoss people. Zerg should be easy in CGI.
