Hmm...you seem to be right, according to the press release. The story that I read that linked to that release said it was a WoW movie. Also...all the rumors for the past year or two have been about a WoW movie. Also...WoW has a much larger fan base than Warcraft.

Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, now Warcraft. I can't wait until Triumph the Insult Comic Dog rips up the Warcraft fans while they camp out to see this.

WoW is part of the Warcraft franchise. There were three Warcraft RTS games before WoW was released.

I have very fond memories of WC 1 and 2.

Wonderful. Raimi starts to win cool points back with me with Drag Me to Hell after the Spiderman debacles...and now he immediately goes back into the negatives. I figured I wouldn't hate him again until the Evil Dead remake, but nope, I'm hating him again much sooner than anticipated.

I wonder if it will be based on the WC1 story. As someone who plays WC3 regularly, it will be a shame if the Undead and Night Elves are excluded.

you sir, are my kind! I'd die for a starcraft movie, which almost have to garantee 10 times better than even the original starship troopers. Sarah Kerrigan's story makes helluva great movie.
