Recommend me some Books!

The summer is getting longer and I'm growing more and more weary of work. Any great books that you guys come across would be awesome!

More specifically, some sort of smart romance would be great. I really enjoyed Time Traveler's Wife and something to that extend would be wonderful.

Recommend away! And thanks!

A Clockwork Orange

Fight Club

Have you read the classics yet?

The Complete Sherlock Holmes collection

William Shakespeare

Alice in Wonderland

H. G Wells's Collection

Might be a good place to start if you haven't read them yet.

If you enjoy detailed spy stories, I strongly recommend John Le Carré. If you enjoy witty spy stories, I strongly recommend Bill Buckley.

What kind of books are you interested in reading, though--fiction, nonfiction??? Any areas of interest?

Update: I read the first chapter of Time and Again; Master & Margarita. I know I should not judge by the first chapter but it seems rather dull. Time and Again's first chapter is rather cliche, A goverment employee seeks out an unsuspecting civilian/former solider to...time travel.
