I have a pair of 1966 501XX 30x34 rigid jeans, and I was wondering what is the best way to stop the inseam from shrinking when soaking? Cold water? I am a 32 inseam. and don't want to risk the jeans becoming too short.

Went to the event Thursday evening. I have to say that I have never, ever, seen a more lame collection of motorcycle jackets in all my life. I mean WTF LVC? Not cool at all. Whoever at Levis is making these decisions has no idea. It is rather sad.

LVC as a "sub-brand" is pretty much a joke nowadays.

Does anyone know if the LVC store in Le Marais, Paris is still open?

I sped past the location yesterday on my motorbike and i'm pretty sure it had gone and been replaced with a Chevignon store. Would they have shut it because of the new flagship store on the Champs Eylysees?

LVC being carried "regularly" at my local Levi's outlet. Kind of pathetic really. Nothing raw, but recognized a few of the serial numbers on some predistressed pieces and realized what they had. How has this brand gone from one of the forerunners of Americana Workwear to so quickly being an outlet kop?

Depending on your size, Cultizm has the 55s.

Had a good thrift find this weekend. $24 for a pair of Levis LVC 505s selvedge, made in USA with a nice pre wash and looked new. They were my size too. I wonder if they were an online sale or something or what the MSRP was. Is there a good site I can read about the history of the 505 fit?

Isn't 505 basically 501+zipper?

Hmm it might be? It does have a zipper
