If any LVC fans are around San Francisco, they just moved the remaining stock of F/W2013 to the sale room in the back of the Levis Store on Market St. I picked up a pair of distressed 1954Zxx. They had been marked down 50% and then there was another 40% off that. They had a few styles. I think they had a heavily distressed '47.

How much did your 54Zs come out to be? Maybe feel a proxy coming on...

Ordered a pair of 34 x 34 1962 zxx from Mr Porter. I assumed there would be some vanity sizing, I.e. A 35w, but they measured 37"!!! At least Mr Porter makes it easy to return. Went for the 33x34 and keeping fingers crossed!

Major LVC sale today at Vente Privee. You can use my link http://vpusa.com/YcaVBhi

I recently ordered a pair of 1967 505 and I send them back. Nice cur, but to me these jeans are overpriced, it was like a regular Levi´s with better denim, the construction was pretty average.

Purchased about 8 items from the VP sale, rigid 201's, type 2 and type 3 jackets, and some 54 501z

Picked up the dark grey 50's crewneck sweatshirt from the vente prive sale. It was sold out when i checked yesterday but then i checked today and a L popped up so i bought it with quickness. Im wondering how the sizing is. For reference I wear a large in Sunspel and Kent Wang Polos. Large in Epaulet shirts. But in traditional levis and mall brand stuff Im consistently a medium in shirts and sweats. Medium in American Apparel hoodies for reference. Does LVC fit slightly slimmer than or would I need a medium?

Thanks, searched the thread for sizing for shirts but not much came up.

Also, how are the pocket t's? size down? same as sweatshirt?

Thanks

Well the VP sale got my order wrong and sent me two "sack coats" instead of the type 3's i ordered and can't do an exchange. The pants I bought in multiple sizes are absolutely huge and part of my order has yet to ship...looks like i struck out on this one

Fender. If it makes you feel better. I ordered 606's and got 605's. I will either return or sell on eBay. Hope what you haven't received fits

LVC has a major problem with consumers when it comes to sizing. It is off and a moving target from season to season. No one cares if you have vanity sizing but customers loose confidence if it keeps changing. I wont ever buy an LVC product online again until they address the issue. It is too full of disappointment & hassle and wasted expense and time with returns.

I got a pair of 1878 pantaloons in size 29 and a pair of 1920 201's in 31, both fit me perfectly. Thankfully I researched the sizing first.

Hey PSG, can you elaborate on what types of garments you think are ill sized? Jackets, sweatshirts, shirts?

I've heard second hand that jackets, shirts and sweatshirts all vary a lot from season to season making it hell to order with confidence online from anyone.

From personal experience the regular line Shrink-to-fit and all LVC denim jeans are way off from previous season and even vary a lot within the product line from model to model. Some of the waist sizes vary as much as 3" from the tag size.

Does anyone know the model year of the 501's pictured?

Just purchased 1954 501z, and am uncertain whether it's the identical cut.

I like the 1954's, so I'll keep them regardless. But I would like to know which year these jeans are in the photo.
