Hello all. New here and just wanting some information about this jacket. I tried looking for this style, but couldn't find one that looks like it.

It is model 507, commonly referred to as a Type II. They have reproduced it for many years in the main line and in LVC.

Thanks- Unfortunately I know that it is a 507xx type II, upon reading more found it was the 1953 model in cone mills denim, however I could not find any info about the wash or specific model/sku so I could search for it.

I am thinking about picking up a pair of 1947 501s with the newer Japanese 12oz fabric. Does anyone have experience with it? Is it best to size up in the waist? Only size up in length? About how much shrinkage should be expected with the Japanese 12oz?

Maybe you should consider the warehouse 1947?

They are a better quality jean and the sizing on that website answers all your questions.

It’s funny. I was thinking of Warehouse as an alternative today. I am now planning to go that direction. Thanks for the reply.

Hey all, came across this pair second hand. I can’t find much info, but from the very limited info I could find, it points to a Japanese LVC pair from the 90’s. Tags look different from the later made in Japan LVC (which look like any other newer pair, just “made in japan” on the tag).

was expecting a “J22” stamped on the button, but the buttons are blank.

Any info would be appreciated!

LVC seems to have jumped the shark a few years back, but I'm still usually good for one item each holiday season. This woolen knit piece caught my eye a few months ago as I waited for the price to drop from $225. They are now blowing them out for $65, and I'm surprised the piece hasn't sold out. A few seasons ago they offered a two-tone green in the same vein as this one that flew off the shelves.
