Is anybody looking forward to this? I hate Tarintino's brand of smugness present in his movies, but this one looks interesting, though hackneyed. What's with all the Nazi-sploitation these days?

Seems like an entertaining movie.

I'm looking forward to seeing it since I'm a fan of his movies. I was surprised to learn that it is based on an old Italian film.

somehow it doesn't surprise me that tarantino is making a movie based on an old movie from another country

Thinking about it some more, I agree. I was kind of disappointed when I later found out that alot of lines from Kill Bill (especially the one about God being cut) were directly taken from old Asian martial arts films. Even Bill's superhero speech was "borrowed" from somewhere else. Nonetheless, it was entertaining.

SRSLY thinking of seeing this.

I look forward to it. His films are NOT masterpieces like a lot of the annoying people proclaim, but taken at face-value they are entertaining movies. They have style, crustiness, and violence - all of which I have an appreciation for. Even if it is borrowed from somewhere else.

I have no problem with Tarantino borrowing from other films, as long as he does it in a creative and entertaining way, which he does. I dont know why this would make the end product tainted to some

Really looking forward to Basterds

R Dogs and P Fiction were masterpieces and instant classics, I'll give him that. True Romance too in my book. But after that, feh.

Heard about it a while ago, just saw a trailer for it today. I think it will be pretty darn entertaining, definately one of the few worth going to the theaters for.

Hell, why aren't more people excited about this movie?

Watch 9 minutes of it here...

I look forward to this as having Pitt in the action movie makes it acceptable to my wife.

I'm really looking forward to this one.. I read the shooting script about a year ago, and if it's half as good as my brain made it look, it should be fantastic.
