Visiting -Vintage furniture in LA?

I'll be in LA this week and would like to hit a few vintage mid-century furniture places. Looking to pick up the odd side table or whatever strikes me. Any suggestions? I'll be in Silverlake mostly, but anywhere is fine.

Have you checked out the LA shopping guide from Apartment therapy? http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/la/guide It is not as convenient as the NY one which has a link for Vintage stores. You can also check out 1stdibs and search for furniture in LA. http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture_new_listings.php

try galerie sommerlath (sp?) on venice. it is french '50s and '60s.

also 'svenska mobler' on la brea, i believe.

and their is another place that specializes in danish mid-century furniture but i forget which street it is on. i want to say beverly.

these are all vintage places, not reproductions.

There are tons of places in LA. One of my favorites is Twentieth on Beverly.

In Silverlake, there's a cool vintage store on Silverlake Blvd with a nice selection of art and design books. It's next to LA MILL coffee. Can't remember the name now. They've got some good Scandi and mid-cent stuff.

Take a look at VandM.com. They have a whole section of dealers that are in the Los Angeles area.
