I was running some random google dorks and got a 1 out of a million payoff. Some dipshit left his /Backup directory completely unsecured and published via HTTP.... pretty common actually but this Einstein apparently uses his to hold his movie backups....it's a google-hunters dream UPDATE - to avoid killing this dude's server I've decided not to publish the link until after I've downloaded everything I want.... will present it tomorrow morning. When it comes to movies all of those choices are shit, except of course torrents. But still, any time I stumble across a list like this it's nice to look for stuff I otherwise wouldn't have thought to hunt out. It's kind of like finding a CD you forgot about in the $1 pile at a flea market. P.S. - Connie, sorry to disappoint, if I ever find a stash of gay/tranny porn, you'll be the first to know.

All the time, and I usually choose the NewTorrents or PirateBay (rip) links over the web-based options like Rapidshare. MUCH faster as long as the seeder count is high.

Update 2:

I just stumbled across another backup directory that contains photos/videos of some dude's bachelor party... on a beach.... with one of the most haggard, flat-chested strippers I have ever seen..... I'll spare you the link and will now go wash my eyes with bleach.

Meanwhile, I max out my bandwidth on Rapidshare regardless of how many other idiots happen to be seeding. Torrents have their advantages and disadvantages, however, I stopped using torrents about a year ago and haven't regretted it. Not only have my downloads been less likely to be fakes but the selection, especially in movies, compared to torrents is simply unrivaled. But your excitement over that list really pegs you as a torrent user, my sarcasm really pegs me as an asshole who uses RS and has access to that library any day of the week.

Do you pay for a RapidShare account? I use RapidShare to download the cooked ROMs for my phone and the speeds suck for free users.

My excitement pegs me as geek enough to enjoy finding data that people never meant to show the world, regardless of what it is. I also found a 5,000+ MP3 library earlier today too - want to bust my balls for not using iTunes instead?

I'm not into many new movies and a lot of what I download is "foreign". Furriners haven't caught on to your wonderful RS thing AFAIK. In other words not a typical user so no dice.
