What light bulbs do you use in general, for the living room, bedroom, etc? What if you want to create a sexy/seductive atmosphere?

best,

I'm mostly changing to compact fluorescents as bulbs burn out. The light isn't as pretty but they give off almost no heat and they last a lot longer (as well as using less power).

Halogens are better for light quality but they run hot and burn a lot of power. I used to light cigarettes off a halogen bulb in college.

For atmosphere, consider candles, or oil lamps if ventilation is good.

Def. candles. If you bring a girl home you can have her light them while you make drinks. It gives her something to do... and she's "lighting candles"... which adds to what you want for your mood.

You can have the regular lights on already and hand her some matches and say "Here, light these for me" while pointing out the candles. Yes, this move is detailed in "The Game" - but I was using it a long time before the book was even thought about.

One trick to seduction is never giving her the opportunity to say no. By that I mean you shouldn't ask "Should we light some candles?". The answer to that is always going to be no, since that's her "proper" role. "Here, light these for me" puts you in control... and she'll light the candles. You haven't given her a chance to THINK about saying no.

Same thing with "Do you want to move into the bedroom?". That is a stupid question. "Let's go into the other room. We'll be more comfortable" - is a much better statement. She can still say no, of course, but you haven't poised the question, so there's less chance she will.

Thing is, even if she WANTS to go to bed with you, if you ask that question, she might say no out of habit. So don't directly give her the chance.

Is "The Game" a book I should have in my collection when I bring girls over?

^Yes. Definitely. Make sure it is lying on your coffee table so the womenz know you are well-versed...

I've changed to "warm light" compact flourescents and though its not as 'warm' as regular bulbs its a whole lot better than "daylight" compacts.

I have this paper lamp in my room, I got it at target for pretty cheap actually, it makes a warm light glow, if you're going for a romanticish light, go with a paperlamp if you can.
