Not sure why you're taking such a narrow view.

Is Francis Mallmann in our midst? Also how do I do South African wine? Tried an eight year old Chenin Blanc last night and it tasted like savory butter.

Acquire pinotage.

Dump pinotage down drain.

Drink something else.

Whatever you drink will be enhanced by the sweet relief of not having to drink pinotage.

Any upstate (NY finger lake region) winery worth visiting? Going to be around Cornell for few days in mid late May

Wegmans

In all srsness, I'm a out of the loop on what's going on in that area, but I always enjoyed The Heights and Zaza's (I think that's the name). I also always liked Moosewood, which is the quintessential yuppie restaurant, but I think it may be under new ownership.

Mid/late May should be beautiful there.

As a PA resident, I would cut a bitch to have a Wegman's with shitty wine near me.
