I buy that shit by the case at like $8.50/bottle. I am currently down to two so it's time to re-up.

if there's a case discount on the $11 (usually 20%), then it'd be down to about $9.50 a bottle which is about as cheap as it comes when you factor in shipping.

I am going nuts here buying cheap wine. I literally do not have the room any more frown.gif

I have a crazy cellar full of cheapies but good cheapies that can take some age (5-10 years).

So my company has a really good mid-level wine portfolio. Not a huge selection, but they're all well selected. We distribute the entire Winebow portfolio EXCEPT for the Kermit Lynch stuff, which is ffffuuuu.gif in and of itself.
Went to a local tasting of Kermit Lynch wines at a local shop where the sales rep who sells KL was the one pouring. He had no fucking idea what he was talking about. Literally spreading false information on the poor people of my sweet Midwestern town. ffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gif it was like he didn't even do a 5 second Google search of his wines.

Had this last night. Excellent. There are a lot of Chadderdon closeouts floating around here and I am rarely disappointed.

Those are two of my go-tos. I get Antinori for around $14-$15, which makes "semi-special" for me.

After all that bragging about all my space, I promptly filled it up and then some frown.gif

I forget how long they've been making it for, but quality wise I think you're spot on with in between the two St. Joseph's. The 2010 is really nice. Perfect Summer BBQ wine. I'll be buying some for myself. 2nd time I've had it and both very nice.

I just bought a 6-pack. Thanks for the recommendation.

My "cellar" is a basement, also used as a weight room, with the wine mostly in cardboard boxes (and one big wine fridge)
