Very good, I liked it a lot (also had the '09) and its only $40 which for CdP is cheap. There is another producer of CdP in the $40-50 range which I think punches way above its weight, I am picking it up this weekend, will post a pic.

i really dislike the "international style" CdP's. Fortunately, I don't drink many CdP's, so I rarely have to worry about it.

oh, that kind of reminds me, I was out of town for a bunch of last week, and the wife asked what she could pillage from our cellar (er, "cellar"). Settled on the Kosta Browne Sonoma 2009, and 10 minutes later I got a text that read "this stuff tastes like pixie juice."

That's the WoTY she's dissing. I'm sad I only have two bottles left to trade off for other stuff. frown.gif I've been getting two and three bottles of Pierre Peters for one of those.

diss away. She has better taste than WS anyways.

I need to try one now as I have enough Champs for a while.

Currently drinking the second bottle of Gunderloch's Pettenthal GG '10. One of the best € 15 wines I've had (also very good for the regular price of € 20-22).

Im seriously jealous at the wide access you have to excellent German wines. And a GG, from Gunderloch no less, for 15 Euro? FML.

I'll think of you when I open my Dönnhoff GG in a few days. No homo.

My wife and I buy a couple bottles of Dönnhoff Hermanshoehle GG every year. Probably my favorite wine.

Walking to the train this morning I saw an empty box that once contained a wine fridge. I got jealous.

HA! Well played, sir.

Nope, I don't have one. Been stalling for a long time. Don't really know why. I guess because I keep hearing mixed reviews on most of them. The ones people like are crazy expensive.
