Interesting, though I doubt it was the cause in my bottle. Should've been the whole batch otherwise.

Too much hydrogen sulfide... can be a fault of the make or a wine that's turned.

I have smelled it in one wine that after an hour's sit was OK... but I've also had it in a wine that sucked hind tit...

Had it a few times. I've never really been a big Sauternes fan. I generally prefer stickies from the Loire valley, or Alsace. The Pazjos reminds me a lot of the 1994 Zind Humbrecht Clos Jebsal SGN Trie Special, which is 4% alcohol freak of a wine, but better.

75% Roussanne, 25% Viognier. Unfiltered and unfined. Very rich mouth feel, no RS though, stone fruit, nice acid, some light baking spice from new oak.

I love them, particularly if they have enough acid to make them less like honey syrup. Yours sounds great though. I've never had the Clos Jesbal but I love ZH so I'll have to try it.

I liked it quite a bit. I mentioned the no RS because I said how rich the mouth feel was.

1% mouthfeel.

I was half joking, it's very cheap (well under $10 for a 375) but IMO a terrific value, I love it.
