I've been waiting for a special occasion to buy this one. 

I hope "Saturday" is considered a special occasion...

 

 

EDIT: OK- I just started drinking my first glass. I wanted to try this before I brought it to a party or something and I must say I'm very glad I did. This is not ready to drink. I decanted for almost 2 hours and it is lousy. The $12 bottle I drank last night was much better.

Y'know, Marea has been on my list for a long time and I've never made it there. Yall are making me regret this fact.

put away a bottle of 06 Montus last night. really nice. wasn't much after opening, but two hours later it really opened up.

they have some rieslings from Karl VonSchubert, the intro one is $23 and excellent (in case you were wondering about great rieslings)

Cool, thanks. I picked up a lot of Riesling there last week, actually. Schafer-Frohlich, Lauer (I like the Fass X that's like $17 as a daily drinker), and some Adam too.
