Ok I see, this is what I tasted yesterday, real stuff 

Not sure whether I like sweet wines so far. I don't like "lieblichen" Riesling. I'm also no fan of the Sauternes I have. Well, I can drink 1T, but that's enough. OTOH, it's not the best, and I'd probably like a Ch. d'Yquem Sauternes.

Dunham cellars wine tasting:

I am drinking more and more sweet wine. Go-to lately has been BV muscat, doesn't hurt that I can get it for 8 bucks.

Maybe it'll grow on me.
Manton, not sure whether you've seen my PM from a couple months ago, but did you continue your Bordeaux "presentation" after the Haut-Médoc part (i.e. continued with the village appelations etc.)? Cause I have skimmed the next 300 posts or so and didn't see a continuation.

Hampton,  How was the Lafon?  Any prem-ox?  I like Dominique's wines these days, but the older ones were drink up.  A wee bit over ripe for my taste.  Can't go wrong with d'Yquem.  A little young, but that's ok.  Too bad the FG ban is happening.  A good combo.

Having a CdP of that quality with some age on it is an experience that I aspire to.

And that Merry Edwards methode a l'ancienne - does that signify whole cluster ferment?

Actually, I think just a very cool sounding way to say they do things the old fashioned way which I in this case I think means they hand punch down the caps vs. pumping over.

2010 & 2011 Nierstein Pettenthal Riesling Kabinett trocken, Louis Guntrum tonight. 2010 tastes nothing like Pettenthal usually does, 2011 is near perfection, if a bit heavy for a Kabinett.

Cracked open a 2002 pride cab last night, it's drinking really well right now.

2007 Stefania Uvas Creek Cab. Sauv.

Oh forgot, also popped a 2005 la tour Blanche, which was also drinking great, lots of acidity, fruit, and good honeyed sweetness, very smooth.
