Only tuned in for the power hour - they had some pretty heavy hitters in the mix Petrus, Scarecrow, Arnaud Mortet Grand Cru, etc

Do you know how much the 2012 Ornellaia was? I was out and missed most of the power hour, which sounds like it was finally back to a real power hour unlike the last few.

Was that from Fass?

Villa Creek is another Paso fav and I don't think I remember anyone else yet trying them out. You really should as they're not generations deep like Ledge and Saxum but they've been there for decades and are in the OG club along with those guys, Linne, etc.

I've had that and liked it.

On the where-to-live-in-the-Central-Coast debate, think I'd prefer the Los Olivos - Ballard - Santa Ynez area. Great wine, bucolic little towns, easy day trip access to Santa Barbara -- which has a lot more to offer than Paso -- and weekends in LA. This would of course require the careful husbanding of tendies beforehand.

Missed that one - at one point things were ripping - up for 5 seconds and then gone

Sitting at dinner about to take a sip of wine when my youngest son, who sits with the back of the chair sideways, leaned back and was about to fall out of the chair and onto the tile floor. Dropped my wine glass and grabbed his leg to save the day. Replaceable glass and cheap daily wine. The little guy was sad dad may go thirsty and offered up his drink.

Worse news than a broken glass..somehow Wine Access won’t ship until mid-April. I don’t know how you Fass guys do it.

Yeah, but you're living in Sweden, so that can't be all bad.

More Central Coast, sorry @NJE66.

This is Matt Dees's second wine at Jonata, super value $25 Bordeaux blend. It's drinking great and the 2016 is supposed to be even better.
