I have this burning desire to leave everything behind and move to a small New England town, preferably Nashua. If you have been there plz tell me about the place.

I've been through briefly and didn't love it. I think you could be really happy in the Pioneer Valley of western Mass., Conne.

Stop aspiring to a lifestyle you won't and can't achieve.

Also, I wouldn't call towns with more than 80K people "small"

Rather than leaving it all behind you should try and transfer to Dartmouth and finish your degree there and get a feel for the region. Another choice would be Amherst which in my opinion is located in quintessential New England. Oh, and I have nothing bad to say about Nashua, but, nothing personal, I think you have a priority problem.

Everybody uses the word "wicked". "It's wicked cold". People end sentences with "ayup". "Wicked cold tonight, aYUP". DVD rentals at gas stations. People don't lock their cars (at least in the smaller towns). When people say "Up the dirt road", they're not referring to a sexual act. Nashua is big enough that you won't get much "Our Town" vibe. Go up into Keene for that. More of a college town feel. Or check out Hanover, which is where Dartmouth is. Burlington, VT is pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfHIFQaEXmU I drove through VT one morning at around 7AM and didn't pass another car for an hour. New England - Idyllic in the summer, beautiful in the fall, kind of a bummer the other months.

Ayup is Maine. Wicked is Boston.

I spent a week there for business once. Not recommended. everything is 90s new. That means chain restaurants and strip-malls. Lots of them.

Doesn't Bill Bryson live there?

You know what Will, Burlington might be even better. I used to go there every winter for skiing vacations and have fond memories of the quintessential New England feel of the town.

+1. At least finish school before you start talking about cutting out of the rat race.

I'm obviously not serious about dropping out of school. Y'all are nuts.
