Rehab at the Hard Rock on Sundays. Dirtiest time you'll ever have and you'll love it. You should stay at the hotel as there's a long line to get in usually. Its a little over now that more upscale parties have sprung up and its kind of a guido/stripper crowd. these days its all about daytime pool parties, the night clubs are not as good for the most part IMO. good restaurants, nice shopping and just hanging out. I wouldn't recommend walking the strip or seeing hotels, just focus on yourself and you'll have a better time.

Was already booked at hard rock with pool view and will be attending rehab. I believe my room only gives me general admin to rehab, will I want to upgrade?
Really thought about The Palms but I always thought there was much better for the same price.
Not quite sure what I plan to do, but enjoying eye candy is definitely part of the trip. Am traveling with a loose knit group of guys and will be doing both personal and group events. I think several are on a tighter budget as they thought hard rock was pricey -- so probably only bouchon if I'm on my own. Will definitely look into rosemary's.
Any other good places to go? Also, what are table stakes these days for something like craps?

I stayed at the Palazzo in October and it's a stellar hotel with very nice casinos.... the minimum bets are kinda pricey in the evening though. The most dirt-ball casinos are off the strip, that's where the locals go because it's cheaper. Find someone local and ask them what they recommend.

club XS at the wynn is supposed to be amazing. Havent been yet, but it is teh poshest place in town if your a baller.
Almost every pool scene is fun if you make it fun. I was at MGM last month and just the general pool was a good scene. I dunno about paying $20 just to get into a fnacier place.

HRH off-season during the day and on weeknights should have 5 dollar dice, with 3x4x5 odds. Evenings and weekends will be dime minimum. There are still a number of places rolling 10x or 100x but many are downtown or small places like the boardwalk or o shea's. There are very few $2 games anymore with those odds. Slots of Fun has a $1 crap game under the stars w/ 2x odds. It's a hoot. You'll find lots of good information on http://www.Wizardofodds.com about where the best places to play for various games are. Also: the comp calculation at HRH includes your odds bet on craps which is not the norm since there is no house edge on the bet
