what's a good cardio workout video?

The idea of a cardio workout I can do at home with no equipment appeals to me. It does seem like most of the videos out there are geared for the ladies.
Is there a good solid workout video out there, for a fella of average health who just wants to improve his heart and endurance? I'm thinking something like 30-45 minutes at a time sounds good.

yeah, I know running is good stuff. I kinda hate it though - that's why a video seems like a nice change.

How about some kind of jump rope workout? It's pretty minimal in terms of equipment.

p90x works pretty well especially if you follow their diet plan. it does get a bit repetitive tho

I'll second the P90X recommendation. I've heard another video series from Beach Body, the company behind P90X, called Insanity is extremely difficult. So if you want a challenge, check that series out. I'm a convert to cardio DVDs now after doing P90X. I have a Precor elliptical machine at home, but I get a better workout from doing cardio DVDs, I burn more calories and they are funner to do.

Tabata intervals are something you can do anywhere, anytime, with no equipment and I guarantee it will kick your ass. http://ezinearticles.com/?Tabata-Any...Gain&id=348486 The key is that 20 seconds has to be balls to the walls, full out maximum intensity.

P90x's Cardio X, Kenpo X and Plyo X and P90x Plus' Interval X+ and Kenpo/Cardio+ are good and somewhat fun cardio exercises. Between those 5, you have more than enough variety. Youc an't purchase them separately though and be warned, the Plyo X and Interval X are somewhat hardcore leg work so take your time with those if you go that route.

Yes, this. A tabata set will take 4 minutes, not 30 or 45, and will totally kick your ass. When I'm feeling masochistic I do a tabata set of bodyweight squats followed immediately by a tabata set of burpees. Then I run to the bathroom and puke. It's awesome. For fat loss I hear doing tabata sets of burpees followed by mountain climbers can't be beat. Mountain climbers are tough as hell though and I haven't been able to come close to doing 4 minutes of them.
