I've read all the books. Can't remember if I own all of them. I know I own at least four. Honestly, they are probably some of my favorites. Will likely re-read them in the near future.

Seen parts of the first two movies and most of the third and fourth (maybe all of it).

Refused to see any of the movies for a while because I enjoyed the books so much.

I don't know if I was sad when the final one came out but it was a little--upsetting I guess--that something I enjoyed so much for 10 years was finally ending.

I even have a Harry Potter towel for my dogs.

Jim Dale does a great job narrating the audio books as well.

The books were very well written and a pleasure to read. The last book was a real page turner.

Two Christmases ago I bought my gf the first three. She loved them and has read them all now. I've only read the first, and it was as soon as it came out. I enjoyed it, but for some reason I never got into the movies and I never read past the first one.

I borrowed copies of the fourth and fifth books and read each in a week. Early mornings, after work, etc.

I even blew off my morning training runs for HP, and that's saying something - not even porn makes me skip running.

I'd give you shit for it, but honestly I have a headache at the moment, and since I nut my pants every time anyone mentions "Star Trek" anyway I guess I'd better STFU.

I had lunch 2 weeks ago at the cafe in Scotland where Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book. Jealous?

when the last book came out I was at a launch party in costume (I was working tho and got paid for my time in $$ as well as a free copy of the book) and stayed up all that night reading it
