Culinary Question.

Thread Starter
I'm a culinary student and as of next year I'll be graduating and consequently moving. I havn't done much but work in small restaurants and catering companies so far, and I'd like to step it up a notch. What are some of the arguably best cities for food and restaurants as far as job opportunities go? I know every region has its own thing, but what would you consider Americas culinary epicenter?

NYC, SF, Chicago, Vegas, NOLA, LA, DC, maybe even throw Boston into the loop.

Depends on what kind of restaurant you want to work in. Each city has a very distinct food and restaurant culture.

Go to NYC. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

If I were young and inexperienced, and didn't have much money at all, those two should be definitely considered.

Come here. Tons of restaurants, new ones still opening up, and cheap cost of living.
