Jantzen Taking Internet Orders Again?

A while back, I noticed that Jantzen's website had a notice stating that only walk-ins would be accepted for some weeks.

When I visited the website recently, I did not see that notice. Does that mean Jantzen is accepting orders over the Internet or fax again?

They've been taking internet orders for close to a year now.

Oh.

Thank you for letting me know.

Do you know 1) whether Jantzen's Internet order page is secure and 2) how long the order turnaround time is nowadays?

Jantzen had a temporary moratorium on internet orders and is supposed to be accepting them again starting March 24.

Their order page is NOT secure. My order in February took 5 weeks.

I placed an order on 14 Feb and made one addition to that order on 18 Feb. I am still waiting...

You dropped your order during their New Year break. The days right up to Chinese New Year and right after are the heaviest for Ricky and the hardest time to get shirts quickly. I would give a call to make sure that there is no problem with the order.

I ordered a shirt 3 weeks ago, still didn't hear anything

On 03 March Ricky responded to an e-mail I sent him asking for order confirmation. He said he would send the order for three shirts asap. As my original order (14 Feb) was for three shirts but I added one more (18 Feb), I wrote back immediately to point out the order should include four shirts. I have heard nothing since and am hoping the shirts are on their way to my mailbox.

So do you order by fax-only?

Unfortunately, I experienced getting my card number stolen. It was a hassle, getting a new number and all that. I'd like to avoid such a hassle in the future, and not placing orders on insecure websites is a risk-limiting step for me.

Say, I noticed that Jantzen only has one space each for each measurement (e.g. sleeves). Is it possible to give two different measurements for sleeves (one arm longer than the other)?

Same for the shoulders?

Just put it in the comments section. That's what I did for my shoulder and sleeve length.

As for the CC issue, I don't know how many companies have this, but citibank has a thing where they generate a one-time use CC number that can be used for exactly one transaction. I've only used this once (for what I thought was a particularly risky internet purchase), but it works well, and if you are worried, I think this is the most ideal solution. I would look to see if your CC company offers such a thing.

What's wrong with just a plain fax order, instead?

Nothing wrong with it. I just personally find faxes annoying. The engineer in me hates the quality downgrade, and can't help but feel like it's the second best alternative in information transformation. But yes, I think Faxes are fairly safe as well and probably a hassle-free way to go if you don't mind the faxing part.

Has anyone spoken with Ricky lately? I still have not received my order placed on 14 February (e-mail confirmation that they would be sent soon on 03 March).

While I have not had a good opportunity to call (very inconvenient given the opposing time zones) I have been sending regular e-mails but getting no response.
