One of my crushes from way back when. She used to do TV commercials for Bloomingdale's.

Marlene Dietrich really scorched the screen in her cameo as a Mexican madame in Orson Welles's classic "Touch of Evil."

Tomasso, the Johnny Stompanato murder, remains one of Hollywood's most enduring mysteries. I've watched Cheryl Crane, recount the events as she remembers them. The woman appears to be genuine, but who knows?

Lana was truly a survivor. The picture she made following the Stompanato stabbing, called IMITATION OF LIFE, was a huge hit, and secured Ms. Turner's financial future for life.

Lana, during one of her MANY coutroom scenes . . . both on and off, screen.

Recently saw a commercial with Claudia Schiffer in it. She still looks great!
