How about styrofoam peanuts? Or those cornstarch packing peanuts?

I assume this is a joke (custom connectors to harmonize?) if not.. I have been using computers daily for at least 15 years and have never noticed static from a mouse-pad. What the hell?

Ya I missed the part about Making custom connectors. Matt is an a-hole!

I can't tell is this is real, but if people can piss away money on feng shui and keep a straight face then the man can believe in his connectors.

Commonly opto-isolation is used to protect valuable instruments from static charges through connections. I would imagine you could find a usb connection (or hub for you keyboard also) that would fit the bill. I would look but since thread is probably going to dumb threads any moment...

Not that I even play many computer games, much less compete, but it is nice for all uses in which mouse-accuracy is important.

That is some next level s#it!

I also use a func pad that came with my alienware 7 or 8 years ago.

Was that last week?

Why not a laptop with a USB optical mouse for the wife to use? And who still uses mousepads?

Whoa, whoa - first things first, buddy. I presume that the computer will of course be on Stillpoints on a rack suspended by Feet of Silence, all capacitors in the power supply replaced with Black Gates and the case covered with ERS paper on the inside and gold foil on the outside? Otherwise there's no point in the mousepad.

Young Master Matthew,
Have you discovered a solution to this most grave dilemma?
