Trimming a goatee with hair trimmer?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of growing a goatee, but I'm a little stingy to buy a beard trimmer. Would a hair trimmer work on facial hair with any sort of decent results?

yes. I just did it this morning to give my beard a stubble look.

Yes. it's so much easier. I have a wahl beard trimmer.

I use a hair smaller sized hair trimmer... works great
