Schonberger shirts, like most Schonberger stuff, dress down nicely, but are not particularly well-suited to being dressed up. I actually have a similar Schonberger shirt (hell, all his Tux shirts are sort of like that, and he makes several every season.) I think that the shirt is sufficiently detailed that adding a tie would just make the whole look too busy - it might actually look good on the catwalk, but would be hard to pull off anywhere else. I would wear the shirt with jeans, untucked, for the day. Throw on a plain black tux jacket, and you're ready for the night. Now that I'm thinking about it, if you're really cool (and I'm not), you might be able to throw on a red or silver satin tie to spoof of the mobster look.
