Va Beach Town Center area has all the resturants and bars you could ever want.

when are you headed down there?

I had a pretty damn good meal at the Catch 31 restaurant in the VA Beach Hilton.

I wouldn't say there is a lot to do in VB proper other than the obvious. If you're looking for a much, much quieter beach check out Sandbridge, maybe a 20 minute drive from the main strip depending on where you're coming from. They don't truck in sand there so it isn't as soft but a few people as opposed to thousands makes up for it.

I have only had drinks at Catch 31... it's in a good location, but they always have annoying music cranked up wayyyy to high. That, and if you're eating outside there is a nonstop gaggle of tourists using a beach access walkway right there, it just all takes away from spending the kind of money they charge. Reviews have not been kind online.

I would recommend One Fish Two Fish for a terrific meal w/good views.

Just went there for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed Mahi Mah's sushi and my wife has always raved about Catch 31. Ammos, the Greek restaurant was pretty good as well. Most likely the beach will be fairly crowded though.
